Ms. Alexandra Durr is a 4th grade math science and social studies teacher at a public school in Coconut Grove Florida. She is passionate about what she does and pushes her students on a daily basis to succeed and think critically. Ms. Durr is fully invested in her students’ education all while making learning fun for them. She engages her students with hands-on learning and uses strategies that promote higher-order thinking skills to better prepare them for the future. Ms. Durr tutors after-school and is devoted to the success of all 40 of her children as well as offers support to her colleagues.
