When I first found out about this contest one teacher immediately came to mind: Mr. Clifford. He is a dedicated teacher who goes above and beyond for our school in so many ways. From participating in dress-down days to coaching our track team and running the student council, Mr. Clifford is always there. Despite his busy schedule and being a parent to eight children, he brings enthusiasm and humor to the classroom every day with dad jokes that never fail to make us laugh. Mr. Clifford has been teaching for over 25 years and he creates a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to be their best. Many of his past students still visit his classroom and consider it a safe space. Mr. Clifford isn’t just a teacher; he’s a mentor and friend to his students. Despite the contest results our school community is already lucky to have a teacher like Mr. Clifford.
