Mr. Shannon is an icon who deserves an amazing vacation!! Not only does he teach English literature to juniors and seniors he also teaches jazz band after school and is on staff for the marching band in the fall. Whether it’s sharing love for Shakespeare or swing he takes the time to engage with each student in a meaningful and intentional way to encourage their own interests to develop and guide them to have an impactful future and a positive influence on the world after they leave his classroom. I can think of no better teacher to get a vacation than Mr. Shannon!!
